Our story is woven into the very fabric of 9-12 Deptford Broadway, a place with an extraordinary history. Before Chairbears Day Nursery came into existence, this building held a special place in the hearts of Anne and Martyn, the former owners of the Antique Warehouse. The Antique Warehouse held another treasure that was a beloved landmark in the local community: the Giants Chair. For nearly two decades, children and their families would gather to take photos on this extraordinary chair, sharing cheeky grins and creating cherished memories. The Giants Chair left an indelible mark, and it’s no wonder that Chairbears Day Nursery carries a piece of its legacy in its name.

It was Anne and Martyn’s vision and dedication that made the Antique Warehouse truly exclusive, ensuring the very best for the community it served. Their love and commitment seeped into every nook and cranny, creating a unique environment that offered warmth, quality, and a positive family vibe. Ellie, along with her brother, spent their early years within these walls, and today, we continue to uphold the values set by Anne and Martyn, offering a loving, home-like, and professional nursery with a positive family atmosphere. Their legacy lives on in the roots of Chairbears, and we strive to maintain the highest standards, just as Ellie’s parents did.
